Thanks Tony.
You have a few years experience with the marine keeping.
Sorry to hear you are going over to the fresh water side.
With that 7 foot tank you could go for a nice Discus setup.

Ok if I pm you on advice around dosing.
Just starting into it but wrecking my head a bit.
Want to keep my corals triving.

Essox wrote:Long over due but here it is.....

Tank 900x800x600 (400ltrs) rimless braceless (best birthday present ever)
Opti white sides and front glass all 16mm
Centre overflow with hang on the back overflow box 200x80x200 with flow and emergency flow
Black background with two returns one either corner
Sump 850x600x500 not sure on water volume just yet, built in rodi water reservoir (30ltrs) with 3 sections 1. Flow area with sock filter 2. Skimmer and reactor 3.bubble trap and return pumps
Black gloss cabinet 900x800x900

Equipment as follows

Flow will be 3 mp40's one either side of the tank 1 on the back wall more than likely wont be on 100% power maybe 50%
Then il have 2x3000 lph return pumps with direction outlets for other flow so there won't be and dead spots
Bubble king 180 skimmer
2ltr kz reactor
2x300 watt heaters with LCD heat controller with probe
Auto top up for rodi
Ghl 3 dosing pump stand alone unit
2xradions gen 2 with TRI lens hung on a rail from the ceiling, radions are also controlled wirelessly

All equipment is from the old tank except the radions and return pumps

The plan is the tank to be ran on a all zeovit program

Don't have the tank yet but dropped into seahorse the other day and it was nearly finished just the front glass to be put on so that was done on that day, just waiting for the tank to cure now here's some pics of the tank in the build process

Nice Graham that a nice size tank and I like your skimmer choice them Bubble king skimmers are extremely quiet
Id say your only dying to get going :)
