Hi Folks,

In an effort to start to get users a bit more active again, I thought I'd start up a new thread for everyone to show off their tanks, give some information about your tank, the equipment you run, any challenges or other info you would like to tell us. I've put a suggested list of information to start out with. By no means an exhaustive list, and I'm sure there may be some this that won't apply to all (eg. skimmers on freshwater tanks!)

How long is the tank running: Two years in November 2017.

Heater: 2 JBL 300 watt heaters

Livestock:

Fish:
2x Common Clown Fish
Pacific Sailfin tang
Blue Regal Tang
Emperor Angel
Yellow Wrasse
Yellow Watchman Goby

Corals\Plants: Frogspawn, green star polyps, mushrooms, Red and Green Motipora – having an issue with tin in the tank which has killed a few corals recently and has also limited me in buying more until resolved

Other livestock: Few snails, need to add in a few more as cleaning crew

Anything else about your thank you'd like to tell us:

First Triton test was done before Christmas, currently completing 6 weeks of water changes. Main concern was there was a small amount of tin in the tank, recently replaced the heaters which I think is the main issue but also took some small bits of metal from the sand bed using a magnet which I’m hoping will help also. Small other changes needed from Triton which I have rectified through dosing.

Hoping to sort tin issue soon and add more corals

Next major upgrade likely to be the lights, will likely stay with LED

Will add photo later
