Anthony,
You should list the numerous benefits of paying membership on an annual basis.
I am certainly glad I became a paying member this year.
My initial list would be..

a) The expertise and advice shared by the members.
b) Meet people with similar interests in specific fish species.
c) Good barter and selling among the members.
d) Discount in sponsor shops when membership card shown. (with all of the spend I have done recently the 10% discount has already saved me a lot and I have recouped my fee tenfold).

The above is no doubt a short list of the benefits being a paying member of LFKS..

Is there any more information on joining, I did have a membership card before but have since moved house and lost the card, how much is it annually?

Totally agree with you here Greg and I will be joining. I'd love to get to meetings but I'm not sure it will be possible but the 10% discount would pay for itself!

So how do I join? Just thru the Paypal link? Also does Seahorse Aquariums give loyalty stamps AND the 10% discount to LFKS members? If so score!

Yes, on the third Wednesday of every month. Our last meeting was last night so the next is the 16th of October. Hope to see you there.

hi I recently bought a fish tank and equiptment but am a bit at sea excuse the pun setting up the filter I found yor web site but found it left very little info on contact numbers I did find an address in hunstown way and I wrtote there but no response I was looking for someone to call out and set me up and give me info on how to keep the tank clean etc I am willing to pay for this service as I don't expect it for nothing I live in ashbourne , I bought a starter kit 27 litre tank and am going to get 2 goldfish to start me , when I feel im fully conversant with fish keeping I will give my tank to my grandson and then invest in a big tank with tropical fish so you see that I could ask in the pet shop for advise but id prefer the expert advice so if any of your members could spare me the time id be grateful yours brian
