EHEIM EXTERNAL FILTER

Hi everyone

i'm a newbie to this,
would like some help please
i have a 330 litre tank, 91cm wide 46cm deep 79cm high , going to go tropical
what would you recommend for a filter. i'm going to go external.
on zooplus at the moment there is a 2215 for 69.90 will do up to 350l or 2217 for 89.90 will do up to 600l.
also i got a price locally for a Fluvel 205 from €125-150.
what would you recommend, is the Eheim an ok filter. what are the prods and cons
what would you recommend.
im in Mallow, North cork
all recommends would be greatly appreciated.

Go Eheim. You are looking at the oldest model they are still selling but they don't have trays for the media like more modern filters. Having said this, they are bomb proof and will run forever.

Very good filter as well and you will get 10% as a new customer. The EX 1200 is the right size for your tank.

If you can afford to spend a bit more without paying silly money, below would be my choice:

I had two Fluval externals and both started leaking. The FX5s don't seem to have this issue, neither does their econonmy range (funny enough not for sale in Ireland)

so do you think JBL would be better then Eheim ??
have you purchased from this company and if so pros and cons you have found.
any good fish shops around the Cork area ??
