Tank Conversion

Permanent Linkby mike70 on 21 Aug 2009 03:49

One of my first jobs was to sort out the lights, there were two reasons for this. First reason was that the lights were shining straight in my eyes while watching tv, second reason was that i wanted to add some actinic lights.

I got some MDF and made a hood, this housed my 150w halide and a twin 39w T5 i bought . I designed it so lights were 9" above the water and hood could slide for easy maintance and feeding.

did you take any pics when making the hood, it would be cool to see how you did it?
